The Cricket Foundation

Objective:

The Cricket Foundation is the ECB’s registered charity which supports grassroots youth cricket and campaigns to bring cricket back to the state school curricular. Start Live was asked to organise a diverse series of networking, fundraising and profile raising events to engage and motivate its key stakeholders, supporters, high-profile sportsmen, and beneficiaries of its funding.

Approach:

Start Live delivered a number of high-profile events under the campaign headline ‘Chance to shine’. These events have taken place in venues including The Bank of England, The Honourable Artillery Company and Lords Cricket Ground. Guests at the events have included high profile players from the England cricket team, celebrities, sponsors and supporters of The Cricket Foundation, as well as high net worth individuals. The event formats range from six-a-side tournaments, gala dinners & auctions to private dinning and Michael Parkinson evenings at the Bank of England hosted by Mervyn King.

Results:

The Cricket Foundation and Start Live have enjoyed a long and successful working relationship, during which time they have delivered over 12 high profile events and raised a considerable amount of money for the charity.
